How does your 3.2 start?

From a cold start, does it fire up right away or take a (literal) couple seconds of cranking?

Always very quick, even after sitting for a few weeks.

I would guess about 1.2 seconds of cranking. However, it's not like I time it.

Mine starts just like ordinary cars, that is, after 2 or 3 seconds of cranking, cold or hot.

Listen to the opening of this video.

That's my car door closing (still love that sound!) and then my car starting on a damp, foggy morning on day 2 of the 850 mile trip from Houston TX to Tuscaloosa AL.

And then me going, "Oh yeah....."

Anybody else got audio or video of their car sounds??

If mine takes more that just a couple of spins, I know something is wrong with it, as it fires up very quickly.

Nice video. I've been along many of those same roads. Good stuff.

Mine upon startup after my rebuild.....can't remember if it was already running when I recorded it, or started it up as part of the video? This computer doesn't have Flash player.
