New intro for old guy

Hey all! It is I, the man formerly known as v8_ranch!

With the recent addition of our 7th child, v8_ranch as a login just does not seem to fit any more. In fact, nothing seems to fit any more - just installed a custom 4th row seat in my Suburban until I can decide what kind of van to purchase.

So what to do? Well, v9_ranch did not seem right at all. So, I decided that this was going to be the closest I would ever come to "coming out of the closet". So I decided to just be myself. You've all seen my car before, so instead of that picture, I will post one of the cause of all of this trouble.

Shane, you should email Wayne and tell him what you've done here logging on as another user. He doesn't approve of that and it's against the rules. Now, you know I'm not the police, I don't care. But, Wayne can combine your posts under your new name, or what ever you wish.

I ran afoul of Wayne when I logged on as "milt" after "zeke" got to 10,000 posts. If you look for zeke now, it's all gone. He wrapped it all into milt.

BTW, congrats on the addition to the fold.

Darn, that's a bunch of kids. And I was afraid of ever having even one.

I was going to say, aw geez, it'll take thought to convert your name in my mind after seeing the old one, but then I read Milt's post and it dawned on me that the name Zeke is erased from the old memory banks now.

Congrats, Shane, and welcome. You just go on and keep having kids so I can keep buying all of the two seaters.

Jack - PM sent. Thanks!

Cayman - they are 4 seaters until they get to be about 12 (YMMV). If you promise not to tell, I will give you my little secret. You see, all of the kids want to ride in Dad's car. If I only had 1-3 kids, I could fit them all in on one trip. Therefore, more kids equals more trips in Dad's car! See? I mean, I can't very well disappoint the children now can I? It's all about the kids, man!

I will forever have the memory and sight of Shanes kid's in the back seat of his SC cab coming across Arkansas on the way back to Tennessee from the Porsche Palooza in Eureka Springs. It's COLD. I do remember Shane asking his kids" you guys want the top down or up" Their reply"top up but the window out". Did I mention it's cold and now it's DARK and COLD. In the semi-brightness of my '69's headlights on I 40 at about 75 mph I can see little heads and hands and arms and they all have a grip on the zip in window trying to get that thing started and zipped up. The top was blown up like a balloon and the wind was whipping their hair and the window. After about 6 or 7 tries....Success That is a tough group of kids. I just wish I had a video camera at the time.

Congrads, I can't imagine that many kids. I hope you don't have a group that eats like my 2 do.

Milt is right - only one username per user. I merged your two accounts together and renamed the current one.
