The wr5dc might work. The "r" indicates that it is a resistor plug. It is there to prevent pulses of energy traveling back up the plug wires when the spark plug fires. It prevents RFI interference with other electronic components. In a 1977 car, you probably don't need them, as you don't have any sensitive computers, although you might get some noise through your radio if you have no resistance in either the plugs or the plug caps. Porsche also put resistance into the spark plug caps, so if you are running those, you don't need resistors in the plugs. If you are running non-standard plug caps that lack restistance, the resistor plugs are probably OK. Some cars run fine with both. I did a quick google search and found lots of places listing the w5dc plug for sale, so you could run the old style plug if you want to. JR | ||

Just for a bit of information, most non-US cars in '76/'77 did not come with rear sway bars. Front and rear sway bars were pretty much a US-spec only thing and were optional on RoW cars. Most RoW cars came with a 16mm front bar and no rear bar.

Mine has front and rear sway bars but don't know the diameter.
