set idle mix, O2 disconnected at bung AND harness w/ LM-1?

Hello guys, it's been a while since i've visited the forum, moved 3 times in the past year in the tri-state area, all sorts of reasons, so i havn't had much time to play with the car, but im back.

I've searched the forum for a while trying to figure this out. I've read in many posts that when setting the idle mixture, i disconnect my o2 sensor, and hook up the LM-1 into the bung on my fabspeed cat-bypass.

When they're saying to disconnect the car's O2 sensor, do they mean at the bung AND the car's wiring harness?
Thanks...

I always disconnect the O2 from the car and stuff the LM-1 up the tail pipe then set it then plug it back in.

this is what i was referring to, when you say you "disconnect the 02 from the car", do you disconnect the sensor from the premuffler AND from the wiring harness in the engine bay?

Or do you just disconnect the sensor from the premuffler, and let it hang while the motronic system reads ambient air from the sensor?

unplug it from the harness. You can also use a jumper inside the engine bay which will do the same thing.
