Need help with clutch stop bracket

I need help with my 1977 911 .

Several years ago the bracket that stops the clutch operating lever when the pedal is released broke . For a quick and cheap fix I made a stop out of steel and mounted it on the bearing bracket (915-116-070-00) number 22 in the drawing below. When I did this I had to advance the change lever (915-116-717-00, number 18 in the drawing) on the splined shaft by one or two splines and the clutch never felt correct afterwords. The reason why is because when I release the clutch pedal the arm does not return all the way back to it's natural rest position. So much so, that the helper spring does not get the chance of "snapping" back to home. The helper spring is not even close to the heat exchanger as you would expect it to be when it is fully at home.

I'm ready to make things right again and get that "Snap" feeling back into my clutch pedal. My question is after looking at several parts images I don't remember what was on there in the beginning.

In the first picture you can see the lever stop ( golden colored bracket that is mounted to sliver bracket with screws) I made one real similar to this but I don't think that I drilled the mounting holes back far enough.

But in this parts drawing item number 25 looks real familiar . I don't remember if that was the stop bracket that was on there to begin with.

If I order the bearing bracket (915-116-070-00) number 22 in the drawing, will the stop come with it or it that a separate part?

Does anyone have a used one for sale?

Thanks for any help

Rick

How do I get in touch with wevo or srp? Do they have a website or phone number?

Thanks
Rick

yes - Google search

srp = Smart racing products

try not to drool too much when you see their stuff... in case of extensive drooling, wads of thousand dollar bills can be used to stop it quickly
