Need to borrow gas analyzer

Is there anyone in the Cincinnati area that would be so kind as to let me borrow their analyzer? I need one but unfortunately my funds must be directed toward things other than tools at the moment. I HATE borrowing tools but I really need to get my mixture under control. TIA

Have you tried the DVM to O2S method to get your c/o readings?

Hi Mark,

I think I still have one I am willing to give you. The problem is that I took it apart to "fix" something on it and it looks like hell. I think it still works. At least it still did after I "fixed" it, maybe 6 years ago. I think you should go EFI and not bother with it. Oh yea the funds

Email me if you are interested

My Bad,

I hope this applys to your year.

OK get your Digital Volt Meter connect the red lead to the O2 Sensor, black to ground (ICV is a Good Ground), jumper the ICV (like you are setting the base idle), turn engine on and adjust the AFM to obtain a 1.0 volt (+/- 0.2 fluctuation at idle) reading that is equivalent to 14.7 on the LM1 C/O reader.

Remember over 1.2 volts is too lean, below 0.8 volts is toorich.

Steve Wong of www.911chips.com taught me this and as long as the components are operating properly this method works.

If you need more specifics I can send you the link. PM me
