Turn signal problem...

Has anyone ever experienced this?
Normal day driving the left rear turn signal illuminates, but the front one does not...(bulb and connections are fine).
Normal day driving, the right front and rear turn signal illuminates...UNTIL I TURN ON THE HEADLIGHTS...then they cease to blink...they just remain illuminated, as does the arrow on the dash...no blink...constant ON...Turn the headlights off, no problem...

I have replaced the turn signal flasher, and fuses...Thoughts?

86 Carrera w/euro H4 headlamps, standard side marker/front turn signal configuration.
The headlamps appear to have a relay.

Ya your signals are wired into your headlights. They are being back fed by the headlights. One of your wires is crossed somewhere. Just gotta search it down and fix it. Much easier said than done....sorry.

I've pulled both front turn signals, side markers, and headlights....as well as the wiring in the luggage compartment...I cannot find a single problem with the wiring...furthermore, I have determined that (with the headlights off) when the right turn signal is turned on, not only do the front and rear turn signals blink...so do both license plate lights, and the left rear side marker and tail light...Does anyone have any experience to support or eliminate that this could possibly be caused by the turn signal switch? Anything else I need to check?

I decided to take another stab at it...I began at the front right turn signal because when I turn on the headlights the right side turn signal markers light(without blinking)...I could not find anything wrong with wiring once again...I decided to change the light bulb for the sake of doing it, and low and behold, it corrected the problem!...There was nothing physically wrong with the bulb that was in it, but apparently SOMETHING is wrong with it that was feeding power back through the system and causing it to wig out...Now all turn signals work correctly at all times...headlights on or off...maybe one day this post will save someone else all the trouble I went through for a light bulb...CC
