Color code Help!!!
HI,
Just got my first 911..really excited...its a 1973 911 T with lots of options...will post pics later... First issue: The car is painted in a volkswagem red,and IM trying to find out its original color... I got a code from the door plate,but cant find anywhere in the net what it means...so please,help me!!! Code is 514-9-3..........What color is it? Thanks!!! |

Not a standard color code for 1973. They can be seen here: http://www.elferhelfer.com/farben.htm.
Look under the floor mats, engine room, trunk, and the wheel wells for evidenece of the original color. Then enire body was painted one clor when it leftthe factory.
