2.5 years later...progress. The market changes, then so do the goals. This car is now going back to full original, no expense spared. The car was handed over to some expert hands to evaluate the sheet metal, and is now in progress to have all everything put right. Here are some pics:

This will be my second to last post in this thread. I'll be creating a new thread to kick off the restoration of this car soon. I'll post that link when ready.

But don't worry, while this car won't be the hotrod I once envisioned, there will still be some under the skin magic. :)

The front pan section looks just like my current project. Minus the pile of new sheet metal on the ground. Guess its time to call up RD.

Yeah kenikh, things tend to get delayed when that boost pipe beckons.. I see an Evo in the background that may have also been delayed.
