Check it out - Wayne's added Forum support / templates for iPhones & iPods!
Very cool. I was going through the site this week with my new iPhone, and I recognized how difficult it was to use. Well, I just installed new templates that support the iPhone. When you access the site using an iPhone, it should automatically load these up.
There are still a bunch of issues with them, and I will be working on them in the future. Namely, I need to use a short input box when using the New Post function. Also, I need to add support for the [quote] function when replying. I'll add these soon. In the meantime, please let me know what you think. Here are some screenshots (hold down home + power at the same time to take a screenshot on your iPhone). -Wayne ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

yes I just noticed how quick it is to load pages on my iPhone. I'm on it now and am enjoying the best Porsche website ever! (which just got better)
Thanks Wayne |

Wayne,
Looks cool. I don’t have an iPhone as I have barely scratched the surface with my old cell and camera. Humm…. 99 unread PMs. ![]() Best, Dumb ol’ Grady

When reading a thread, I don't see how to navigate up one level to the parent forum.

Either hit the left arrow to go back one page, or the 'home' button at the top.

What I am looking for is the ability to navigate up through the parent forums, not the "Back" button.
at the top of this non-iphone page we have this: Pelican Parts Technical BBS > 1- Porsche Technical Forums > Porsche 911 Technical Forum That would be my normal method of navigating the forum. I don't see this on the iphone version.

wow - Wayne!
Busy hands are happy hands... Now how about an app where I photo a part on my car with my iPhone and it shows me a parts diagram, lets me select the relevant parts and order them thru your web site? (will that keep you busy for a while...?) |

Yes, by hitting the 'home' button, it takes you to all the parent forums.

Wayne, looks great, I like it and it certainly loads much faster on my iPhone. I have one question, when you go down to the bottom of the page and click on "Normal Version", it doesn't bring you back to the normal website, is it supposed to work like that?

It definitely loads faster but I like the normal format way better on my Iphone and the "Normal Version" link at the bottom doesn't change it back at all. If you can make it where you have the option of both ways that would be awesome!
