Need offset/spacing help.
Hey all, I usually hang out in the water-cooled section, but need to know what the normal offset spacing is for a set of cookie cutters from a '75 911?
Thanks, Nick

Porsche used only two sizes of Cookie Cutters: 15 x 6, and 15 x 7. All are early offset.
The 911 used 6 in front, and 7 in the rear, the 944 used 7s all the way around. All the 7s have the same part number. No distinction between 911 and 944 wheels. |

Interesting. My '73 came with 6 & 7's, so I thought that was standard fitment for 911s. I bought it from an auction, so I have no history for the car.
I don't use the Cookies any more. 7 & 9 x 16 Fuchs for street tires, 17" Fikses for the Hoosiers. |

It's hard to believe that you use 9's w/o also having SC/Carrera flares

I bought my car at an insurance auction, after it suffered a minor engine fire. Perfect candidate to drop the whimpy 2.4, and stuff a 3.2 in its place.
The donor car was a pristine 1987 Targa that was hit hard in the nose. It donated its engine, wiring harness, aluminum banana arms and brakes, and lots of little bits and pieces, along with its rear flares: ![]() So what wheels would have been stock on a 1973.5 911T ? |
