Post Search Function - Where did it go?

Is something up? I'm looking for the usual search buttons at the top of the page and can't find them. Am I going blind? Or did you change something Wayne?

I'm trying to re-install my clutch and transmission and I'm a little concerned about these threaded rivets Haynes refers to. Unfortunately when I separated the trans and engine per the Pelican tech article (Doesn't mention these rivets and spacers) I didn't pay any attention in this area. Are these spacers and preload of the pressure plate necessary to re-install the trans to the motor?? Can re-installation be done without this preload?
As always thanks for your wisdom...

David,

That 'preload procedure' in Haynes ONLY APPLIES TO '70-'71 clutches!!!

Unbelievable how many people have been mislead by that entry in Haynes!
