removing exhust tip
Is there a trick to removing the chrome exhust tip? It look looks like there are two dimples around the tip, is it just crimped on? Any ideas on the eaisest way to get it off and a new one on?
Thanks, Jason

I used a hammer and chisel from the rear side. Not much room but it can be done. With care the damage will be minimal and the tip can be reused. If it isn't going to be reused, no problem.

it is crimped. what you do is slit cut it carfully from back to front with a air cut off wheel under the car and peel it off..belive it or not auto zone has a very nice SS replacement that looks just like the stock one when you break off the cheesy screw clamps and will slide on very tight, it will stay on if you bump it on with a piece of 2x4..i had mine spot welded though just incase...the tip was $15...
