How did you make out with this mount? Is it worth it? I just installed the Bosh Apps (free/$4.95 for the advance) Light 'Em Up | Bosch Invented for life on a Iphone 4. Work great on the Odyssey but I need something steady for Das Babe ![]() ![]() ![]() I look at this one or one that Suctioned Cup to the windshield. J.J.

Those cigarette lighter mounts work OK in an SUV, but particularly if you use them to measure acceleration in a 911, you're going to end up with your iPhone on the floor.

It's a cool toy but of course take it to a dyno to see where it really is, then compare the numbers..

The 911 Buyers Guide posted by our host, lists the 1978 911SC at 2560lbs. I don't know but would guess that is without gas, driver, or anything in the trunk.

There are a bunch of free ones. You don't have to buy the dynolicious one.

First run with Dynolicious/iPad. Slightly uphill, two passengers total weight 3020 lbs. SC cam. It appears to have a wide spread of torque doesn't it ? Not very fast though
Comments please ? ![]()

I found that after about 30 runs, I only got two that were close to what I pulled on a dyno. It's kind of tough to find: straight, flat, non-populated and where you can get several runs in, at least in my neck of the woods. To get away from people, I get lots of hills/mtns and twisties. Darn!
OH, and holding it securely is mandatory!

Dug up this old thread and figured I'd post my results from last January.
First run. Moderate launch. Decent 1-2 gearchange. ![]() Second run. Tried a 4k rpm launch and just spun the tires. 0-60 wasn't as good, but had my best 1/4 mile. ![]() Third run. Moderate launch like run one. ![]() Weight entered in at 2700 lbs. This was just a guess. This is a 188 hp Euro SC (stock) without sunroof or a lot of options, but does have A/C and tea tray tail and a little over 1/2 tank of gas. Drivetrain loss was entered at 15%. Average HP results was 197 (190, 178 & 223)
