Ever pulled apart an msd unit?

neat, the transformer looks similer to the bosch unit, except the iron may be a tad bigger. that red thing looks the the "big" capacitor, also about the same size as the replacements i have used. the old bosch one is about the size of a 35mm film canistor, although it does not matter.
