replacing original chip question
Ok, my newly acquired 3.2 came with a Autothority chip and intake.
I have replaced the intake with original air box unit. I have the original chip, do I simply change it out in the dme with Autothority chip? Where is the dme located? Anything I need to know or is it straight forward? Thx in advance. Derek ![]() |

DME is under the driver seat.
Use a 10MM deep sockect and mini ratchet to remove 4 bolts and remove the DME Relay bolt to it will make it easier to re-install. Go to Steve Wong's 911 Chips site www.911chips.com and he has a how to take apart the DME and where the chip is located. BTW, Nice Ride when my baby grows up she wants to be a Wide Body Targa ![]()
