Window Frame Rail Bracket?

I've been working on re-assembling my door after a latch problem. After pushing the frame back down into the door, I noticed this apparently broken bracket (see picture) which appears to have once secured the bottom of the front frame rail to the inside of the inner door sheet metal.

Does anyone have a picture of what's missing from mine? If I even knew the correct distance that the bracket held the rail from the inside of the door (or some other dimensional reference) I could fab one myself. A part# for a replacement? I could dis-mantle the other door to see what the deal is, but... the garage is cold, I'm lazy and you guys always seem to have answers for my stupid questions.

Anyway, ideas would be greatly appreciated. I haven't been able to find anything searching here or other web sites.

I could be completely wrong as well and this part never did anything in the door in the first place.

Thanks guys!
