Jerry,

I would not put the ignition or coil on a fuse.

Be sure you provide future owners (and yourself) a DETAILED diagram of what you did. Trust me, in 3-4 years you will not remember exactly what you did when you are chasing an electrical gremlin. Be sure your color coding also matches the factory colors to ease troubleshooting in the future.

Since you will have deviated from the Factory setup, you should be aware that most pros will not be willing to touch the electrical systems in your car.

Flat Fuses..........

Jerry,Be sure to check the back of the old fuse holders. There will likely be some jumpers built in that you will need to replicate. Also, follow the advice fromHarryD and keep a detailed schematic with wire colors, etc. When you go toconnect the new fuse box into the existing wiring harness, be certain to usethe very best connectors that you can buy. This is not a place to get cheap!Just be careful, go slow and double check each connection. With care, there is no reason that your new fuse box will cause any problems. Also, you willbe amazed at how many small electrical issues simply "go away" after doingthis upgrade. Good luck with your project. Here are a couple of pictures of the conversion that I did several years ago
in my SC.

IIRC, Eagle Day - not cheap

may be other places but can't recall...

Be nice if someone made a run of the correctly jumpered fuse blocks with the fuses all in order...
