H4 bulb/fuse question

I've got a '90 964 in which the PO installed H4 headlights with 80/100w bulbs, which I just discovered when one blew out. In tracking down what happened I discovered the low beam fuses had been replaced with 15 amps. I'm going to switch back to 55/60w bulbs, so my question is should I replace the fuses with the stock amperage?
Many thanks,

Yes, you don't want to run higher amp fuses with lower wattage bulbs. Prepare to be rather disappointed when you lower the wattage - especially in the countryside in the dark in the rain.
