Here a a few engine we built with EFI&ITBs
Bills 3.8, in this pic you can see the twin injector rails. We tuned this so at part throttle the engine is running one set of injectors, as soon as manifold pressure goes positive the second set of injector fire. ![]() Plenum removed, you can kind of make out two injectors per barrel. ![]() These are single injector ITBs with plenum ![]() 3.7 na ![]() 3.9 na

All the CAD drawings are done and we are getting all the parts machined next week. The test car for it is my 3.0 litre '79 SC, but we have sized the throttle bodies so that they will work equally well on a 3.2. It incorporates filtration and velocity stacks / trumpets. My company is an AEM dealer, so we will run it with the AEM Universal Engine Management System. There is a video about the AEM Universal EMS here ... http://www.tunersgroup.com/Videos/AEM_Universal_Engine_Management_System_EMS_Video.h tml My motor is out of my SC at the moment as we're rebuilding the 915 transmission, so we're developing the ITB EFI setup while the engine is out of the car - much easier to do on an engine stand than in the engine bay ! I'll post some photos of the setup next week once we have the parts machined. I originally decided to develop it for my own car, but we may offer it as a kit. - Adam

TWM 3003 and 3006 series throttle bodies are a good quality ITBs.....You will not have any hardware problems using them
We have used them in a number of builds... There are a number of other manufacturers on the market which look good as well... Jenvey, PMO, Extrudabody, Hargett makes what looks like a really nice product... I want to use them (Hargett) on the next iteration of my own 2.2 screamer. Cant remember the name now... but someone makes CF barrel valves which you an fit to a 911..Maybe Lumenition>?

Here is another good alternative.
![]() These have 46mm throttles but we have 50mm ones, too.

Steve, what are the pros and cons to a high butterfully/injector setup like that?

Do you have any dyno sheets comparing that high butterfly setup to a lower butterfly setup ? I'd be very interested to see the differences on the dyno graphs. - Adam

Re. the offset dual injectors on a slide valve...i'd guess if you center a single injector over a slide valve setup you're not going to get all the fuel at part throttle.

Subscribed. I had a TEC and TWM setup back in the 90's but had a hard time tuning it for street use. Things have come a long way on the EFI side.

Here's a pic of my 2.8 with TWM throttle bodies, 3.2 injectors, Haltech F10 ECU and Electromotive twin-plug ignition. Recent Mustang dyno tuning by John Holleran in Pinole (SF Bay Area) has resulted in immediate cold starting, 900rpm idle and excellent power/throttle response. Its never run better.
