How to remove the Tach and speedo??

Hi all,

This will probably sound like a silly question, but...

I need to remove the tach and speedometer on my 79 911SC, and honestly I want to make sure I'm not doing more work than I need to. Getting these things out seem to be a pain in the butt. Does anyone have removal instructions for this? I do not have a Porsche manual at the moment.

Thanks!!!

YB

In a 75 they just pull out from the cab. Probably the same for you.
It is really easy.
Should take about 5 minutes.

Open the front trunk, find the right gauges, and push them out toward the streering wheel, no clips, no screws, no bolts, no nothing.

Garage
They have a rubber surround and they are press fit in. Grab the bezel and rock back and forth.
