Problems contacting Brad Penn

Why does a company make it difficult to contact them or even find out the name or location of a retailer selling their product? Case in point Brad Penn oils.

-Their web site has no list of distributors or retailers

- To contact them you have to fill out a web form and enter one of those stupid visually scrambled codes that is case sensitve. I did this twice and twice got a message that the it failed due to "no referer". (I filled in the web form correctly and DID choose a reference as to how I heard of them.) To add insult after the failure occurrs the form is completely cleared.

- Finally, I say screw it, I will call them. SUPRISE no phone numbers listed anywhere on their site that I could find.

Just can't understand why a company would make things so difficult, especially in this business climate.

End of rant.

Thanks for the info guys. I was aware of the LNengineering site. I was/am hoping to be able to buy it local. I can't see paying ups freight for something as common as oil especially considering the quantities I need and the frequency.

One of the reasons I went with SWEEPCO was the Brad Penn web site. I figure any company that makes it that difficult to contact them does not want or deserve my business.

We are distributors of BP in the San Fernando Valley/ Los Angeles area (Van Nuys). We carry mostly 20-50w, break in oil

Agreed that transpo costs are a pain. Since it is a small company, they are not set up with distributors in as many places as we need to see it.

Also agreed that having a list of distributors is a must on their site !

Brad Penn oil in Syracuse

Pete;

Try Drake Oil Company in East Syracuse. Ph.# 315-432-0887. They have tons of it, at a decent price. Last case of 20-50W I bought was $32.00. Regards,Bob

when i contacted brad penn they offered to deliver it from their distributor at no charge. They didnt say who had it locally. I just went to a local speed/machine shop and found it. Id say just call around to machine shops and circle track shops that kind of thing.

When I filled out BP's online request form, I had both an email and a phone call from them within 24 hours. And a follow up call a week later.

I minimize the shipping charges by ordering 3 cases at a time, and the UPS charges were minimal. That was before I knew Charles Navarro had the oil, so for my next purchase I'll just drive down to get it from him.
