Any use for Junk Cylinders?
I've got a bunch of used 911 engine parts:
-Pistons -Cylinders -Rods -Cam Towers -Valve covers -you get the picture... Any ideas of what to do with them? Anybody need a pencil holder with cooling fins? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It would be a cool pencil holder. Two rods with a tube would make a nice paper towel holder too.

Birals can be bored and Nikasils can be replated. EBS buys both.

I powdercoated an old 2.2 p&c left over from my rebuild. It makes a great paper weight!

Two cylinders on a shelf could make nice book holders in your garage.

I just watched, The Fastest Indian, last night! Great movie. I've always wondered what his piston designs looked like and if you could transfer that design to a car piston. He sure knew how to get the most out of his engine.
+1 if you're looking to unload one.

Okay, guys- I'm going to box one up and take it to the Post Office to see what shipping will cost.
Maybe after everybody has what they want, and I still have a bunch, I'll weld several of them end-to-end so my pellet stove will have a chimney with cooling fins. |

I'll take one (cylinder)! I've always wanted one to use as a pencil holder at the office.

There are at least five dozen cylinders- Enough to go around. There are a couple complete sets that may be usable, but most are mis-matched oddballs that will never be bolted to a case again. After I see what I've got, you guys can let me know what bore you prefer. I'll take more pictures and establish what it will cost to get them shipped to your door.
After everybody gets a chance, I may call EBS and see if they have any interest in the leftovers, but the Pelicanheads are first in line! |
