h4 upgrade problems

so I did the h4 upgrade

I installed 40 amp relays on the white and yellow wires coming from the fuse panel to the headlights.

40 amp relays

(post 30) I ran new hots into a fuse block used 20 amp fuses

(post 85) put good grounds on all relays

(post 86) line from original fuse panel

(post 87) line to light.

Now I am getting a very high pitch squeel from one of the relays and my high beams dont flash or come on.

I am lost.

Sounds like you have something mixed up...
Pull your relays. Identify the contacts and coils with a meter and try it again..
If you can test your relays while they are out, it will probably help you understand what they are doing.
At least a bump to the front....

The contact numbers are right. Did you mirror them by some chance?

Relays were all wired fine.

Problem was in the wiring between the switch and the dimmer relay.

Thanks everyone.
