How to disable alarm

I bought a 911 turbo (euro car and 1977) last year and just 2 weeks ago an alarm set off? I wasnt even aware that the car had an alarm installed - no horn just flashing lights for a few minutes. Probably an old alarm - not factory installed. Or perhaps factory? Anyway, anybody have an idea as to where the disable switch might be located? Or even how to disable the alarm entirely.

Have an idea the alarm is somehow connected to the ignition/fuelpump. After alarm set off, the engine starts up, but dies when putting in gear! Its not the fuel pump, since it runs perfect when holding and forcing the key slightly. Any ideas?

Thanks so much!

Check around the fuse box and battery for any fuses that do not look factory. Usually installers tie into the parking lights around the fuse box area so look for some connections there also. 1 st post so where are the pictures of your car???
