7&8/16 BBS weights v Fuchs
Anyone know what the BBS rims that were often an option or up grade on 3.2 Carrera's weigh in a 7 & 8" by 16?
They are supposed to be lighter than fuchs but wonder how much. Thx |

Less brakes, more gas!

I can weigh an 8" and 9" BBS RS when I get home... I have some sans tires.

Depends on the BBS multi-spokes you have. Mine are considerably heavier than Fuchs but are not the RS mentioned above. A picture would help determine what BBS's you are referring to.

Was looking for a lighter rim option. Thinking it would be a 3 pice?

I'm not sure how much the 3 piece wheels weight, I mean fuchs are seriously light you would be probably spending a pretty penny to get something lighter.

my BBS (8x16 and 9x16) (RSII) wheels were between a full lb and a 1.4lbs lighter than my corresponding 8x16 and 9x16 fuchs. They also allowed a little better brake cooling. So I imagine the 7 and 8's would be similar
