I think it looks great, well done.

Slightly ot, where does one get that script and would they have a small "Carrera" decal for the ducktail on my 993?

Interesting. Backdating script and updating wheel size. That's the greatest thing about personalization.

Does anyone know what was the latest year that the factory offered the side script as an option?

1988 Carrera
It last came standard on the 75 Carrera, other than 113 Europe-only '76 Carreras with MFI built for homologation purposes. I dont know if it was a factory option thereafter.

I'm in the minority; not that it doesn't look good. It does. So does w/o. YMMV.

The script says Carrera, but it isn't is it?. Same with 911s that sport RS insignia.... and aren't.

But that's just me.

Script says Carrera on an 87 Carrera, it says it on the lid as well. What am I missing?

Consider myself powned. I'll save my rant for a more appropriate thread.

Thanks for the kind reminder.

If you are talking about this scripton the ducktail, I had mine custome made at a vinyl shop using an original RS decal my brother had and then changed the RS to 3.2 (since I dont like calling my car something it isnt) MikeZ on this site also has them now if I am not mistaken...he is also the source I used for my side script.

No worries Sherwood - thats why I debated for a while (although it IS a Carrera). Once I put the duckie on I felt I was past the "originality" part. However, I have kept all the stock pieces so I can easily go back - thats the beauty!

The "Stealth Silver" is my biggest seller for black cars. Second is orange...believe it or not......

Black is on most other cars....
