Broken Rear sway bar mount

I heard a rear suspension clunk and got underneath and found the right rear sway bar mount has broken loose. I haven't gotten it up in the air yet but it looks like the screws may have broken. Has anyone here on the forum had any experience with this repair? Your help is appreciated!

Found I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago, I ordered the sway bar bracket along with a new 20mm bushing and clamp from our host. Had to cut and grid the bracket from the frame, after that I had a local shop weld the new one in place. Most of time its the bracket that gives way or rust out and needs to be replaced. N ot a hard job but I dont weld.

stock one broke soon after I got my car years ago
r&r with one that was "OEM"
that one broke soon after
r&r with WEVO, no problems since.

WEVO is the way to go as most would say in this forum

Lets go straight to the source. The WEVO RARB Console (rear antiroll bar mount...) is the solution of choice. The Porsche replacement mount can still break. The WEVO unit is bomb proof.

Pelican sells them here... Product Information: WVO-RARB

The search function of this site is a great feature. Here is a link to the frequently asked questions section of this site. You probably won't want to muddle through the entire section but a quick scan will be helpful.

Once you have the general idea, click the search button on the blue bar about 1/3 way down the page. Click the down arrow next to "search" and then click advanced search. Put your search terms where it says "Search by Keyword." It's pretty intuitive - all you really need to do is play with the search function a little and you'll soon be a pro. I always try to use specific search terms like "sway bar repair" or "broken sway bar mount." You can limit your search to specific forums, like the 911 technical forum (on the right where it says "Search in Forum(s)"), to get more useful results. You can also limit your search by choosing some of the other functions on the page. For example, choosing to limit searches to threads with at least 5 replies will normally gets you more useful results. If you are searching for a popular search term, like "fuel injection" or "electrical" limiting your search to thread titles (directly under "Keyword(s)") is helpful. Welcome to the site, you'll find lots of help around here.

The main thing to know about searches is to use the word 'and' between your terms. This will produce results than contain all of your search terms, not just the individual ones. I don't think the search function has ever been adequately explained.
