Building Headers - Junk Carrera Cylinders Needed for Mule Motor

I'm building a set of 1 5/8" Carrera headers and I need a set of junk cylinders to go with the junk heads on my mule motor (thanks to Jeff Alton for those).
Will gladly pay shipping and a for your time to look through that pile-o-crap in the corner of your shop.
Thanks!

Bryan, I don't have cylinders but have European 1 5/8 (and other sizes) headers for sale (in case you don't want to go through the build).

Have a good weekend!

These are being added to my exhaust system component line-up. The prototype was done in 1 1/2" and will now be bumped to 1 5/8. 930 headers are next and will be available in both sizes. All are 321 stainless.
Got to change out the early 911 cylinder & head setup to Carrera to finish out the fitment verification.
Thanks for the offer though. Great looking car by the way ...

I've got a bunch of junk cylinders. They're not real close by, but next time I run out that direction, I could grab some for you if you still need them. It will probably be a week or two before I'm out that way.

I am confused you need cylinders("jugs") or heads with ports?

What man doesn't need jugs?

I see the problem, my mistake. I'll go back and fix that.
I need the cylinders, NOT the heads. Jeff donated the heads.

Hey Dan, I believe the block I am using came from you a few years ago, thanks!

That would be the 930 case with the big hole in the side, right? Any investigator would conclude: "Too much Booooost!"

Interesting side bar on Dan's case; after he sent it to me I got a call from a fellow offering 1/2 what a good case is worth. After a few questions to figure out where this was going it was revealed that he only needs the section with the serial numbers.
The conversation ended rather abruptly at that point.

Brian, you might want to also look for SC cylinders. dimensionally (external) they are identical to Carrera jugs.

I am sure there are a lot of junk Alusil cylinders out there.

Thanks for the tip. I have Carrera heads and just need cylinders that will fit. The head stud pattern on the early cylinders is closer together and won't work.

Any cylinders that would bolt onto a Carrara case will work for my needs.

By the way JP, you have the world's largest passenger vehicle turbocharger headed your way, ha!

You know about that?!!! I will have to speak to my source about spilling the beans on uber-double top secret projects.

Wait... I don't know what you are talking about.

btw, I have a junk nikasil cylinder I will donate to the cause. Send me an address and I will get it in the mail.

I have a set of 90 964 cylinders and pistons looking for a good home... I know this doesn't help you but if anyone else needs 'em - they are yours!

JP, I've had that monster for some time now. Been meaning to ship it back to "Q" but never did. Now you are the keeper of the Chalice of Reeves.

You have a set of 6 or just 1 cylinder? I need a whole set.

Unfortunately 964 cylinders won't work. Thanks though ...

Holiday bump for the Indy 500 pre-race post checkers.
Still need a set of junk Carrera cylinders if anyone has them.
