911e conversion
Hey guys,
I'm usually on the supercharging forum but wanted to stop by for a visit. ![]() I'm interested in finding a 69-73 911 that has been converted to a 3.2. Anyone have any leads? Thanks, Doug

Did you guys also swap the transmission?
Does the stock tranny synch with the 3.2? Is the 3.2 too powerful for the...is it a 901 tranny? How extensive is the electrical conversion? (Besides the DME-ecu) Do you need to add additional oil cooler/coolers?

This should answer many of your questions.. http://www.pelicanparts.com/MotorCity/marcesq1/
When I had my conversion done by Precision Motion Porsche Specialists in Riverside, Calif. ( www.pmporsche.com ) the only thing I had to do was to send my tachometer to North Hollywood Speedometer and have the "innards" converted to accept the new signal. I think they had to change the flywheel during the conversion as the original 3.2 was mated to a G50 transaxle. In regards to the 901, I think if it's built up, it will take the added torque.
