I agree that once you have headed down the modern look path, you should probably keep going. I think the Cup wheels look great and will keep with teh theme. Either way, great looking car.

IMO if you're going with post '89 body panels then go with the cup wheels (or other lighter aftermarket wheels - Kodiak, Fiske, BBS, etc.). If you lose the current tail and go with an earlier tail then go with Fuchs.
Just my opinion... Either way you go the car looks great. |

Style is a personal thing.
For me: The best look would be the Fuchs w a duck, 74 Carrera, or Irock tail going for a 74/5 RS look. Best track set up, Cups for brake cooling and safety w current tail for downforce. I like impact bumpers w/o the rear rubbers. |

I think the Rotas will be going up for sale or trade. I am going to throw my long term support behind the 993 cups.

Thanks for more pics of the tail. That'll probably be my next change.
In the meantime, some pics to ponder: Here's my car with my 17" Mille Miglia Cup 1 replicas that I use as backup/ rain track wheels. Frankly I like the look on the 911, but the Ruf replica bumpers make a change in appearance too: ![]() And here we are in current form with the new Jeff Alton 17" Fuchs: ![]() Personally I prefer the looks of the 17 Fuchs enough that I'm ordering a second set.
