A/c p/n help...

I'm looking for the PET P/N for the A/C relay in the smuggler's box for a "84" "P" car. The closest item I can find in the PET parts book is pg. 001, Illustration 902-00 of the Main Group: ELECTRICAL: Item 12 - Relay-ignition cut-off. P/N 930 617 117 01
Can anyone verify if this is the correct part?

Or, can I go to a local auto parts and give them the Bosch P/N and order the relay? The Bosch No: SR9826

Thanks...

The one I bought when I replaced was P/N 911-615-103-01-M206. I bought it from Pelican and they list it as AC relay - 911 (1974-1989). It plugged directly in and has an added fuse.

Stop at your local Rat Schack and they can fix you up with an automotive relay for under $5.00 bucks, not unless you want to pay an additional $20 bucks for a relay in a PORSCHE box.

Barrpete, this is not a "plug in" type relay, it's a 1" square metal can that bolts to a stud on the side of the smuggler's box and has 4 male spades.

It's probably generic like ruf-porsche says, I'll give that a shot...

Thanks,

Here's an update on the P/N's for anyone looking for this A/C relay in the future.

1. Glenn from Pelican gave me this P/N: 911-615-103-01-M206 - $8.00
2. Before Glenn got back to me I found this relay at the local Car Quest auto parts store:56-1728 - $7.72 + tax.

Evidently this A/C relay was listed on Pelican's web site Parts Catalog, I just never thought to look there.
