Will these wheels be big enough to clear a 930 fitted with Big Red's?

Many of you have been following the prior threads which have been discussing this project, but for those who are unfamiliar with what has been discussed let me post links to these threads which can give background information.
Jeff is busy at this time with his "day job" so I am posting this and am sure he will reply as soon as he is available. Thanks for your interest. http://66.236.61.177/showthread.php?t=327105 http://66.236.61.177/showthread.php?t=404603 Bob Aines |

I'm sure they are forthcoming, but will there be pictures of the FINAL production wheels? I've seen various iterations of these wheels in some of the other threads (including my own), but I'm not sure these wheels had the final lip design.

Very keen but would like to see a pic before I lay some cash down, sorry to be fussy but will you do the standard finish, black inside, clear annoed rim (not polished)? Will you also send them to Australia?

Actually, I agree with that idea - more on par with the original 930-era Fuch, no?

I think the thing that will seal the deal for me is seeing pics with the Fuchs style outer shell.
Will we see pics of the wheels with the Fuchs style outer shell before the end of this month? I too would prefer clear anodized outer wheel shells with black centers vs. polished outer shells. |

The wheels can be fit over big reds, but I need to know what brakes you have when you order. The standard wheel clears brakes such as 993/930 and our new 917 style brakes shown in this earlier thread..... The Zuffenhaus Boys are at it again... 917 style calipers
Cheers

I have the 993 front calipers on the car now, with the 930 front caliper on the rear, i will be going up to the 993tt big red calipers all round when i fit the RSR suspension this winter, i obviously can't do this with the stock 16" wheels that are on the car.
I want to be completely sure that these wheels will clear the new brakes before i can consider them as a possible option, i don't know what the dimensions need to be but i know the stock 930 rim isn't big enough, can you confirm that these will work? |

Email me please so we can discuss the specific application of your car. I did get a similar email earlier but not sure if it is you, but I will respond to that email as well.
To all: If you have a unique car (a mix of body work, supsension, brakes etc) please email the details so we can discuss the fit. At the end of the day, your new wheels will fit your specific car, but I will need some details from you about it. You may have to take a couple of minor measurements for me, which I will walk you through and provide pics showing what I mean. Cheers
