looking for a "backdate" procedure

I've been reading about "backdating", and I am thinking about doing it to my car, a 1988 3.2 Carrera. Are there any good "how to's" or step-by-step procedures to doing this? also, can I start the backdate now, then add the SSI's at a later date while still having the car driveable.

You dont exactly tell us what you mean by BACK DATING. Back dating to a long hood or just to the engine?

Why you should backdate your heat on a 3.2

and this for your footwell blowers to still work

krd,

You could start your backdating project in stages. Start looking for the hardwares like these:
