My 1979 911 ROW turbo widebody with a Vortech V5 Supercharger on it.
pictures and video below. Currently I am running low boost around 10psi. I still finalizing the plumbing of the upper intake. Probably going to change over to megasquirt and newer injectors. the engine was rebuilt by previous owner all stock. My theory is if it breaks upgrade it. The carpets, seats and headliner are coming out for a roll cage this fall. about all I have to add. This is my first Porsche but far from my 1st project car. I have rebuilt 1969 Camaro SS 396, Ford Mustang 1972 Fastback, Audi Quatro, CJ_5&7's, new imports I've heavily modified Eclipses to product 400whp, 02 Mini Cooper, and my favorite mobile office my BMW X5 with exhaust, suspension, reflashed CPU and High Flow Throttle Body. However I enjoy the lack of emission issues and computer controllers of the 70's. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Rebel911; 07-14-2009 at 01:11 AM.. |

Thank you. I'll be more than happy to help out if I can, but your ride looks pretty sweet already! Sounds wicked too. Quick question for you, I'm assuming that is a 3 ltr. If so, being a ROW car did you have to lower the compression at all?
