O2 Sensor problems - Yikes!
I was replacing my O2 sensor today and when I went to unplug the boot that connects in the left side of the engine bay the piece that the sensor connects to came with it! I don't know the name of it and I need to replace it. Does anyone know how, where, what I'm looking for? To recap - it's NOT the sensor itself, it's the piece that connects to in the engine compartment. I can post a pic later if it helps.

Is this the problem?
O2 sensor lead from harness has broken off.

Welcome to the club! Pretty much every o2 car owner is in the club.
Clip what's left of that connector off, put a spade terminal (or similar) on it, and clip the thing off the end of the o2 connector and do the same. Connect, and Voila! You're done. I zip tied the new connection I made to a hose or harness so it's easily visible, should my wrench ever need to disconnect my o2 sensor.

as others said, but do not use solder to join as it will effect the milli voltage that travels that wire

ALso insure the metal shield is properly insulted, it also cause havoc to the ECU. I use heat shrink on mine.
