A better use for the clock hole ?

During summer (and spring) my car gets really stuffy as it doesn't have AC nor the face level vents.
I wonder if it would be reasonably easy to remove the clock and reroute one of the downward fresh air vents to exit through the clock hole... ? The ideal place for a face level vent !

I seem to recall someone on the board who did just that, using a boat fitting for the hole that swiveled and had louvers. I'll try a search and see if I can locate the thread.

There's a Ford dash vent that fits perfectly. Everything you need to know:

yeah...i have often thought about having my gauges combined to fit in 3 holes and using the far left and clock hole for air vents. the mustang black vents look like they belong there.

I think Smart Racing makes a kit for exactly what you are talking about. We do a similar set up on our race cars.
