Leads wanted, re metal valve stems...

This is a valve stem that came w/ my Kinesis wheels, It fits great and looks great, but the gaskets are getting old and leaky(as you can see).

Soo I'd like to replace the gaskets or replace the whole valve stem w/ identical units, small chamfered base, no external nut.

All the ones I seem to find these days are like this, a little larger base & external nut

Any leads on the original are greatly appreciated

I've been running these aluminum stems in my 993 and bbs rims and have been extremely happy with them.

Hi Bill,
I've got some gaskets that look about right from some other valve stems I was going to use. I'll bring them out to Watkins Glen and you can take a look and see how they fit.

I guess you checked with Kinesis already?

What about the guy who made the Fuchs replicas - I forget his name off hand but think he's in BC...

I'm not a motorcyclist but any chance metal valve stems might be used by our 2 wheeled friends?

Thanks guys, I think I found them, the ones I like are made by Enkei, and yes they appear to be mostly motorcycle items
