First model year of 3.0l engine ?
Just a quick question:
What was the model year when the 3.0 litre engine started ? |

Just come across a 911 3.0l from 76 for sale... This means it should be one of the somewhat rare Carrera 3.0 !
Just for checking, what are the VIN's for Carrera 3.0 ? |

I'm not in the market, but just found what looks to be a very solid Euro Carrera 3.0 from 76...
I understand it's a somewhat rare version, what could be the market value for it ? |

When i was shopping around for them over a year ago, they were running about 40-50% higher than an equal 911SC (comparing quality, upgrades, etc). Now, their claiming more than that, but I haven't been watching the pricing.

The 3.0 liter turbo was launched in 1974 as a ROW model.

That's possible but I tend to think that the better cars often trade privately and never make it to the general market. Also, I've sold several cars lately that fetched more than accepted book value, so a good car will always command a premium.
