Need 69-70 part numbers

I'm looking for three specific part numbers out of the original 69-70 911 parts manuals. PET numbers will not suffice.

I'm doing a bit of research and have numbers from my original 71 parts manual but, I don't own the original 69 or the 69-70 parts manuals. I've got data from the 68 parts manuals and am trying to determine when the prefix changed.

Looking for the following out of the exterior lights section. In the 71 manual its section 9:

XXX.631.202.00
Fog lamp round, for Halogen lamps with white reflector

XXX.631.202.10
Fog lamp round, for Halogen lamps with yellow reflector

XXX.631.121.01
Additional main beam headlamp for Halogen lamps

I've never seen a 69 only parts manual set, only the two volume 69-70. Does anyone know if the 69 manuals existed separately? Did Porsche just publish updates for the 70MY to add to the 69MY manuals?

Please do not respond if you don't own manuals and are giving the info second hand. Scans of the actual manual page with the info would be a huge bonus.

Cheers,

Michael,

Here is my 3-volume, 6-ring ’69 “only” 911/912 parts manual.
It is titled “911/912 Model 1969”.
It is edition “October 1968” and has Supplements through ‘VI’ 11/72.
This is published by Dr. ing. h.c. F. Porsche K.G.

There is also a virtually identical 3-volume, 6-ring version labeled “911/912 Model 1969/70”.
It also says “Edition 1968” and has identical Supplements through ‘VI’ 11/72.
It is published by VW-Porsche Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH.

Additionally there is the single-volume, 5-pin, ’70-’71 parts manual (left below).
Even though this one is labeled “Model 1971”, it also covers all of 1970.
It does not cover any of 1969.
Virtually identical in format is the ’72-’73 manual (right below).

To answer your specific question:

In the ’69 only manual, there are nine choices for #51:
This page has update II 7/69.
The leading “(2)” indicates ’70 model.
Here is the 2-page illustration

Michael,

Here are the lamp pages from the ’65-’68 parts manual.
The top page is Supplement V 11/66.
The bottom page is Supplement VII 11/67.

© 1967, Dr. ing. h.c. F. Porsche K.G.

© 1967, Dr. ing. h.c. F. Porsche K.G.

There are three #56 listed:
All three indicate starting with the 1968 model.

56 901.631.202.00 Fog lamp round for Halogen lamps with white reflector, without Fig. No. 57-59.

56 901.631.202.10 Fog lamp round for Halogen lamps with yellow reflector, without Fig. No. 57-59.

56 901.631.121.01 Additional main beam headlamp for Halogen lamps with white reflector, without Fig. No. 57-59.

Additionally the listing for SWB (2-hole) horn grills show:

901.559.432.23 Horn grill left.

901.559.431.23 Horn grill right.

and

901.559.432.25 Horn grill left, for additional Halogen main beam headlamp and round fog lamps.

901.559.431.25 Horn grill right, for additional Halogen main beam headlamp and round fog lamps.

I recall fitting these to '66-67 cars in the late '60s. early '70s.
I wonder who has some NOS?

Best,
Grady
