Question Radio Code Input

This is my first post so please excuse me if I'm in the wrong location or there is already a Q&A on this. I just bought a '89 Carrera with the original Blaupunkt Reno radio. I have the radio ID and the code but don't know the sequence for entering the radio code when I need to.

If anyone knows where to get a copy of the factory radio manual or the entry sequence, I'd appreciate it.

The code you are refering to is most probably a Porsche directed question.

Or, perhaps Blaupunkt (Midwest Electronics) @ 1-800-266-2528.

We had a few (store bought) Reno radios, but when hooked up did not need any codes.

Our most current 911 is the Aspen model (store bought).

The Aspen installation manual makes no mention of an installation code.

Good luck,

Gerry

Thanks for the response. I'm hoping someone out there has had their vintage radio flash "Code" after disconnecting the battery and remembers how to input the radio code. I had an "87 Carrera several years ago but have forgotten how to input the radio code to reactivate it. After "x" number of tries (20 I think) it permanently disables the radio and needs to be sent back to the Blaupunkt factory for work. The radio is currently working but if I ever disconnect the battery I'm in trouble.
