So you are going to spend 1/2 day in a shop for a repair and time/money/unpleasantness in legal action for something that will take 30 seconds to fix? that is why everything is so expensive these days. everyone wants a reason to sue. losen the hose. rotate. tighten. done. damn.

You could remove the compressor, lift it up and out of the way, wrap it in a blanket and carefully place it on the fender while you remove and replace your oil filter.

I have CIS and A/C as well as a service cover for my entire engine area such as the one Pelican Parts sells here; PEL-COLSC002.
I place my A/C compressor on the extra padding spot on the cover, which just happens to be on the fender. No hoses need to be undone.

he live in Australia , bought the car in the US and shipped it there , returning to the "shoemaker" not an option

he said that in the above posts by the way
