81 911 Fires but wont run

I hope you can help me. My 911 ran great until I used a penetrating oil on the climate control cable under the dash and the actuators in the trunk. Now it starts but immediately stops. That is to say as soon as I turn the key, there is ignition but it immeidately stops. I would appreciate any thoughts. I am new to this car but wonder if it might be the fuel pump relay or if the oil has somehow messed up the ignition system?

Well matrix, where did you put the oil and how do you think that's connected to the engine not starting? (you know it's in the rear) JK! Just hard to beleave there related.
Go through your normal "engine fails to start" procedures: check for fuel (in tank, at engine, fuel pump runs), spark present when cranking, fuel injectors work when lifting air plate, air filter clean, power to ignition system. relays working, ect...
Are you talking about the slide cables that you lubed? and why? were they sticking? what king of fluid did you use? and how much.
P.S. Welcome, what year 911, color, cool stuff, PICTURES
