WHat is the difference (if any) between SSIs and Dansk stainless heat exchangers?

A few people have pointed out that our price seems a little high on this - I'll have to check to see if we are out of the ballpark, or if the wholesale price on these have come down in the past few months...

I never posted an update on this, but Wayne came through with new pricing (now SSIs cheaper than Dansk).

Wayne's new price ($425 each) seems very competitive. What is more, Darren was mega super extra unbelievably helpful getting them sent to New Zealand for me, for which I haven't yet sent a thankyou email but I am very very pleased!

And they are really really beautiful (the SSIs - never met the Pelican guys ).

So buy Pelican!
