Engine Decoding info
Searched everywhere for this info so I figure I will ask it here.. Does anyone have any info on "crate engines" bought from germany or the factory for older cars.. Believe I have one built in the 90's of an sc engine.. . wondering if there is a number ID for that or who might know how to identify it and exactly when it was built..

Not an SC last one was 1983 I believe.

What are the engine number, type number and date code on the case halves?
