Another tire problem

There is my new baby again.

But the baby has a problem !

This is an RS 74 body: 9" front, 11"rear.

Actually I have BBS 3pc 15/9 and 15/11 with 225/50/15 and 285/40/15.

This is great. But the 285/40/15 are not build/sold anymore. I did buy 4 rear tires with the car, so I will be OK for a few times.

But after? I have no idea of what to do. I have been told that the only 15" large tire on the market is 345/35/15 (Ferrari mount). They fit on my 15/11 wheels (following manufacturer) but I what about the shape? Rubbing, I guess yes?

If I have to change the wheels, what can I choose? I would like to keep the tire as close as my current dimensions 225&285.
so
16" I can forget,
17" maybe but I need ET9 and -3?
18 good for tire dimensions (285 is standart) but isn't too large/heavy for an SC?

I think I am not the only one having this problem.

So any experience, advise is welcome.

Philippe
