That's the oil pressure switch - PN for my 87 was 911-606-230-00-M85
On Edit - it is NOT the Oil pres switch.

If it is for your 84 3.2, it would be a temp switch # 930 606 117.

Along with that temp. sender, you may also want a new gasket for the breather cap, a new O-ring for the thermostate next to it and a new oil pressure switch which is the ground for the oil warning light in the dash.
The last 3 items are usually replaced when the engine is out. ![]()

I would advise changing the fuel lines and intake gaskets with the engine out. I see you have a 3.2.
The oil pressure switch and thermostat o-ring probably should be changed, but if they've been changed recently already, they're not that difficult to change with the engine in. On a 911SC, it's an entirely different matter, and should be changed each time the engine is out. |

Get the good, green Viton O-ring for the Thermostat....do not overtorque those thermostat bolts..clean that nasty area REALLY well before removal,..no debris falling inside is a good thing!!!!!!!!!!
Best, Doyle
