Hi there.
I have a P&C set lying in my workshop and I am not sure what types it is. The cylinders are biral 84 mm so it is 2.2 - 2.4 E - S types. I suspect it is 2.4 E types but I am nut sure. The following text is stamped on the pistons. C021 25 84V53 + MAHLE. The cylinders MAHLE 84ZD3 Under the tekst there are 5 dots - What does that mean? any help will be welcome - Thanks in advance Peter Jensen |

Peter,
A picture would help, but, without one .... The 'E' pistons are cast and the skirts are completety circumfrential in occupting the bore, whereas the 'S' pistons are of the 'slipper-skirt' design and cut back on each side. The dome on the 2.4 piston is significantly lowe than previous versions. A picture would help to match up with service manual pics.
