Leland? U still browsing here?

If so, thanks for the kind words on my old car. I'll answer your email later. Guess I haven't posted pics because I don't have a digital camera, don't have a scanner, wouldn't know how to use either if I did. Guess I'm a semi technophobe. Far as I know, RJ is still somewhere in the sandbox. But fear not, plenty of others on the board still wave the SCWDP flag with pride! Just wait though. When Cris publishes, then sends you a copy of the R GRUPPE NEWS? Oh gosh, the SCWDP will be in trouble! Subversive material indeed, material touting the superiority of the early cars. Just darned good to know you can read the board...hope it's helping your days pass. Best, Paul

Humor has no bounds, Paul. Your posts make me laugh. And don't give me this "Oh, my old car?? " crap. You know you have an absolutely gorgeous 911 and you have been selfishly hiding it from us. I am going to try and find a scanner so I can put that picture you sent me up on the board. You have me drooling over early cars now! I already hit a couple classified sites, poking around maybe looking for a '72-'73 T coupe ..... ...in need of a little love... maybe... "Damn!...Snap out of it Lee!!" SC Superiority...SC Superiority...SC Superioity... I'm on to you! This some sort of Communist/early 911 plot to sap and Impurify the SC brotherhoods bodily fluids! I could use another car. Right?....

Leland, Ahhhh...you just want more stogies. Even tho we're only a couple (well yeah, okay...a few) decades apart in age, I find myself hoping we're kindred spirits. Just thanks for what you're doing right now. Hey, RJ too! Best, Paul P.S: Ever read the weight-horsepower ratio between ANY year 911SC vs. any year early (pre 1974) 911S? Don't. You SC guys are in T-rubble if you do! But car rivalary? Minor crap, like the Army/Navy game. Just do your job well, come home safe. We, the guys on this board, all want that.

What's so bad about Communism, really, Lee? Just stare at the picture... The long, graceful line of the hood... The nimble handling... light weight... the whiplash-quick throttle response... And then there's that 7300 rpm Banshee scream... Are you with us now, Comrade? E911WDP has a nice ring to it.

Lee, that's a poor pic of my car! I plead road use! Jack took that after I'd just driven from Orygun to Cambia, Ca..took about 14 hours. (Yeah, I know...MMARSH or Jack would have made it in 9, but...) Still, I vaguely remember that event.

Lee...just keep telling yourself...."I don't want to polish horn grilles..I don't want to polish horn grilles"...Stay the course. I'd hate to have an election for a new SC World Domination leader. Dimpled chads etc. Keep it "Blue" (AF) and stay safe.

Road use? That car was beautiful. Any deficiencies are from my poor photographic skills. Next May, I'll try and do a little better.
