New dash panel
Built a new panel to cover the holes of everything that has been removed. I think it turned out pretty nice. Aluminum is thick enough to mount switches or extra gauges on later, plus I have a matching panel to go on the other side next.

Nice Job. Just curious though. Did you consider this style aluminium as I think it really looks good with switches

Yeah, that looks cool, but too bright for a race car. Would look good on an early track rat....

I did finish the dash panel before she went to the new home.

John,
Looks good, how did you bend the aluminum? Did you have access to a large break or is there another way? What gauge alum did you use?

Rennline makes a similar panel and it is reasonably priced...
Cheers

The aluminum was bent on a 36" wide break press. Three simple bends. .060-.080 aluminum works fine.

Jeff, yeah the Rennline isn't too bad, especially if you don't have access to a 36" break
